As the temperature begins to crank up, it’s a great idea to cool down with an icy cocktail or mocktail! Below are three summery drink recipes that will help you to beat the heat and enjoy yourself! 


Our first summertime sip is Rosy Gin-Kombucha Cocktail! This is a refreshing, yet healthy take on a gin and tonic! This drink was created by Rick Martinez of bon appetit. 

Ingredients for one cocktail: 

2 ounces gin

1 ounce Campari

½ ounce fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger

5 ounces original kombucha, chilled

Lemon wedges (for serving)



Step 1- Stir gin, Campari, lemon juice, and ginger in a pint glass or measuring cup. Stir in kombucha. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into an ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with lemon wedges.


Next cocktail is a Rosé-Aperol Spritz! This cocktail has a sweet-sour take of a classic summer drink! Enjoy this beverage chilled with a group of girls! This drink was created by Rick Martinez of bon appetit. 

Ingredients for 4 to 6 servings:

¾ cup passion fruit juice, chilled

¼ cup Aperol

¼ cup fresh lime juice

4 teaspoons sugar

1 750ml bottle sparkling rosé, chilled

Ruby red grapefruit wedges (for serving)



Step 1- Whisk passion fruit juice, Aperol, lime juice, and sugar in a large pitcher until sugar is dissolved. Stir in rosé.

Step 2- Serve spritz in large ice-filled wine glasses. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.


The final drink is a refreshing summer mocktail that anyone can enjoy! We have a sparkling raspberry lemonade virgin mojito! This drink was created by the author- Emily from West of the Loop. 

Ingredients for one cocktail: 

15 mint leaves

1 oz simple syrup

2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

8 oz Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade 

Garnish: Raspberries, mint, lime wedge


Place the mint leaves in the bottom of a tall highball glass.

Gently muddle the mint with a muddler or other blunt object.

Add the simple syrup and lime juice to the mint.

Add a handful of ice cubes.

Top with Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade.

Garnish with fresh raspberries, a sprig of mint, and a lime wedge
